These photographs come from a faculty development tour I was privledged to be included on in the summer of 2005. It consisted of 17 fellow educators who traveled to three sites (New Delhi, Channai, Bangladore) in India . This was an outstanding experience, and to be in the soon-to-be most populous country in the world and to witness such things as the affects of colonialism and social stratification was good material to bring into the classroom. I was also able to witness firsthand the devastation from the 2004 tsunami.
