Some members have asked about online CGSG discussion boards and “listservs.” Here are two options for those of you interested in this communication.
Posting Announcements through the AAG Email Lists:
Go to the AAG website and log in. In the yellow column on the right, go to “Communities” and choose the “My Communities” link. The next page that comes up will display the first four specialty groups you subscribe to. At the bottom, there is a link for "View All Subscribed Communities". Click that to show all the email lists you can post on. Click on a particular list, then click "General Forum”, and then click "Create New Topic". You can copy your message from any other (readable) document and paste it there.
SUBSCRIBING TO CGSG LISTSERV (operated through Oklahoma State and moderated by Professor Derek Alderman at East Carolina):
Cultural Geography Discussion (CULTURALGEOG) Subscribe to listserv@LISTSERV.OKSTATE.EDU with Message: “subscribe CULTURALGEOG your name”
We think, at this time, these avenues are sufficient but we are also finding information on other communication networks through “Yahoo!” or other organizations. News of any registration will be posted on this website.
