Instructions for Requesting CGSG Sponsorship for your Session

The CGSG is happy to sponsor any session that engages ideas, literature, topics, and people within cultural geography, broadly defined to include any type of inquiry into the relationships between cultural forms/practices and their geographical expression in place, space, region, and landscape.

Should you wish to request CGSG sponsorship for your session, please contact our Program Director, Sharon Wilcox Adams (SEWilcox@mail.utexas.edu) with the following information: (1) the name of the session as it will appear in the AAG Program; (2) a brief description of the session; (3) name(s) of the organizer(s) and the session chair/discussant(s); and (4) names, affiliations, and paper titles for each participant in the session. You may include this information within the body of your email text or as a file attachment in Rich Text, Microsoft Word, or PDF format. Thank you for your interest in session sponsorship, and we look forward to seeing your at what promises to be an exciting annual meeting.
